"Abbey brought my book to life in the most extraordinary way. From our very first conversation, she listened with care and intention—taking in every note, idea, and request I shared. She transformed my words into illustrations that were not only visually stunning but also beautifully whimsical, full of charm and heart. Her ability to capture emotion and imagination in each image was truly magical.
Every time I received an illustration, I was moved to tears. It felt like she had reached into my mind and pulled out exactly what I had envisioned—only better. Seeing my story come alive through her art was one of the most special parts of this journey.
Abbey was also incredibly professional and prompt. She met every deadline with ease, communicated clearly, and made the process feel smooth and stress-free. As a first-time author, I was nervous about how everything would come together, but Abbey’s patience, encouragement, and nonjudgmental support made all the difference.
I can’t recommend Abbey highly enough. Her talent is exceptional, her spirit is kind, and working with her made this project feel joyful and full of wonder.”

“As a first-time author, working with Abbey was a seamless and wonderful experience. She poured imagination and creativity into developing every character and bringing my book to life with thoughtfulness and professionalism”

Hi! I’m Abbey, a Milwaukee based illustrator. Formerly a first grade teacher and now mom to two I have spent much of my life immersed in children’s books. My art is a colorful celebration of the wonder and whimsy of childhood. I love the magic of childhood; the feeling of falling into the pages of a book and getting lost. I adore how a well developed illustration enhances the text and creates something a child can find comfort and awe in.When I am not working on my illustrations I am outside with my family, teaching yoga, or engaging in a variety of creative pursuits (sourdough, crochet, house projects...these hands are busy!).My goal? To fill this wild wonderful life with art and gratitude, where I can create and make unforgettable memories with my family.
